Grand Canyon

Rick, Lola, and I went to Idaho via the Grand Canyon. (I think something is wrong with my camera, however, because all of the pictures look blurry. Sorry! Also, the battery went dead about 20 minutes into the trip...) The Grand Canyon is amazing, but you can't capture its grandeur with a tiny Costco camera. And you have to spend a lot more time there than we were able to this time. There were waayy too many tourists there for our taste also.

We went to see my mom and stayed with Rick's brother Jeff. We also stopped to see my favorite people--Bethany, Mckenna and Sean. They were the highlight of our trip, actually. ;o)Then we cruised down through Las Vegas and saw the boys. It's certainly a lot easier now that we are only 5 hours from Rachel, or will be when we move to our house in Surprise. Which, by the way, we are supposed to close on Wednesday. Let's hope so. It's been forever since we started this process, it seems. I'm looking forward to getting out of boxes.
