We went to Rachel's for a few days and saw our boys. They have swimming lessons for two weeks so we got to see some of those. We helped Rach with some projects, went to Peter Piper's Pizza and generally just hung out. It's so much nicer to be able to drive there in 51/2 hours instead of over 8. As soon as we move to Surprise it will be less than 5 hours. Yahoo!
We thought for a while that the old ladies were moving sooner than planned but now they are back to the end of July. That's what I get for getting my hopes up. I'm just so anxious to stop living out of boxes. Though Dave Hillen whom we are renting from has been so nice in regard to us being flexible as to the move out date.
Barley is a spoiled dog now. She goes in Rachel's house a little and swims in her pool. She will NOT be coming in our house, but I don't know about the pool. She's pretty cute in a huge, awkward laborador kind of way. Lola was the bad seed out of all the dogs. She ended up completely covered in mud and ran through Rach's house at one point. There was evidently a dripper leak and then Lola became the "strawberry" in the huge vat of "chocolate." She was a mess!
Rick is obsessed with getting a new Palm Pre phone tomorrow. As always with Rick, he is consumed with one thing! The Palm Pre is like an iphone only Sprint. No one can stop him now.
He's almost as crazed as Lola.
