So the boys spent four days and three nights with Grandma Jo and Grandpa Rick! Their parents stayed in Rexburg with "the Andersens" and fished and visited, so we had the boys by themselves.
Except for the sleeping time, it was great! We raked leaves, played with the dogs, put together puzzles, wrote with markers, read books, watched "Super Why" and "Arthur" (over and over), watched videos, went to see great grandma, rode in the corn truck and rode on the 4-wheeler. We were busy!!
We also put together Rick's new book bag, which I should have taken a picture of but didn't, and a Halloween scene shown in pictures posted here (somewhere.) The sleeping time was a little rough because they sleep with their parents at home, so we had to follow that lead or be in for a fight which I wasn't ready to tackle. Both boys are tiny tornadoes when they sleep. Grandma ended up sleeping on the floor two nights--it's a long story. I know it sounds logical to go into a different room and sleep there, but...it's easier said than done. They just would have awakened and come looking for me elsewhere. It's complicated. Maybe next time they come Mama will have "fixed" them so they will sleep in their own bed. (Hint. Hint.) ;o)

The boys still sleep with Rachel? Is she crazy? How does she get any sleep? I ended that a long time ago. It took persistence but it was nice to have the bed to ourselves and actually (before having another baby).
Sounds eventful! It is always fun to have visiters but nice to have time to yourself. Wow, I don't know how Rachel does it! Mckenna was 2 weeks old and I couldn't stand having her in my room let alone my bed. So she moved to her crib when still tiny. It was nice because she was just accross the hall so still really close. I love the time I have to myself after I put her to bed. Good luck Rachel!
