Rooster Teeth and Eyes

You know that I've been fretting over my grandson's eye care. His mom finally got one sight-impaired twin glasses. Poor kid had 80/20 in one eye and 60/20 in the other. (Or is it 20/80?) Anyway, he couldn't see well! I love his little specs. He has two pair--one for inside and one dark glasses cuz they are outside so much in sunny LV.
His regular glasses are Harley Davidson. So stylish and hip! (Is hip a word anyone says any more?)

He also lost his first tooth. He looks as if he was in pain. But I think he was just showing us the gap. He's dramatic like his mother. (I don't know where they get the drama gene... ;o)

His mom calls him "Ray Charles" in his sunglasses. I would say he looks like a star and adorable. I do love that kid.

I'm so relieved that he gets the care he needs--finally!!! Grandma Jo might be a little overprotective. Now they both need cavities filled and Blake probably needs glasses too. It's always something...

I always think kids with glasses are so cute. I wonder if his parents thought of getting him photo grey lens which change automatically when you go from bright light to regular. Convenient, but if you take flash pictures the lens always look dark.

Hope the tooth fairy treated him well.

My grandson has worn glasses since he was 3. Poor eyesight like his mom (my dau). He looks so cute in them and got his new pair for the beginning of school and they are round like Harry Potters and have that room darkening thingy added to the lenses so he only has to worry about one pair.
Your grandson is AD-orable-ly cute in HIS eyewear. I can see how you just want to squeeze him! Lost tooth and all.
You are a good grandmother, I think. And they are the apples of your eye.

Nothing wrong with that at all!

He looks adorable in those glasses. I remember getting my glasses as a kid. I was slightly older and I don't know what my vision was then, but I looked at the clouds and said "Wow. Look at all the detail." My siblings, ever do loving, said, "Duh! That's how they always look." I am so glad he got the glasses.

He's adorable! Eye care as well as the whole teeth thing can be an expensive project, for sure!

He's a cutie -- with or without the specs. I, too, have worn photogrey lenses for 30 years -- love them! I do find, however, that in the hot desert of AZ they do not darken as much or as quickly as they do in cooler temps. Still very helpful though because my eyes are super sensitive to bright light.
