I've started making tote bags for a few people. I'm using scraps from material I already have so it only costs the price of the pattern (initially) and then pellon and stiffening for the bottom. It's sort of fun and I think I'll make several. I will take a picture when finished.
See, I'm not entirely a scrooge. The spirit of Christmas is love and giving, not trees anyway...right? ;o) I'm trying to further justify my scrooginess.

Wow, those sound like a cute idea. Can't wait to see pictures. Also, you are right about the giving part. I'm trying to come up with a crafty idea for friends and neighbors. If ya have any ideas, please share.
