Christmas is over! We had a nice, quiet day. Went to "Marley and Me" yesterday and cried. I wanted to go to "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" but Rick didn't think he could make it to two movies in one day. (Dork!) What else was he doing?
Weather continues dicey. I guess Rick can't truck yet. Oh, my! Garbage man is here and "we" haven't taken it out yet because "we've been so busy." Ahh!
So I must forge on and be thankful for what I have and gain a more positive attitude on the way. Sure, I can do that. Now there are ads on TV about doing taxes. Now, there's a happy thought. Great grief...

You are funny. I haven't been as good at getting on and checking blogs. I think it is so funny to read your blog. I always get a good chuckle at your humor. I love that you use your blog as a journal and that you don't withhold how you are feeling. You really put yourself out there, which makes it so much more fun to read. That is no good that Rachel won't be coming to visit you. It sounds like you could use it. We too have been snowed in since Christmas day. We did go to church today (which was Sacrament only due to the snow) and it was touch and go with all of the snow drifts on the roads. I am loving being lazy and reading a new book. You might like it (as an educator), it is called Three Cups of Tea. I will get my Christmas pics on my blog today, so watch for it. Kick your feet up and relax. :)
