Rach and the boys came Wed. and just left this morning. It was fun with the pool and everything. Grandpa and the boys swam every day, twice a day most days. They love the water and the warm weather here. We lost the house in Mesa. It sold for $230,000. Needless to say we did NOT sumbit that high a bid. Sheesh!! It's ridiculous. Every house that is remotely nice, the investors just pour their money into and outbid peons like us. We found a new realtor though and he's great. The lady we had from the beginning went postal on us. I guess we are hard to work with. She yelled at Rick and told him he would never get what he wanted, etc. She just wanted us to buy new construction in Florence (half way to Mexico) so she could get a bigger commission. She just didn't like any of the areas we wanted to look in to get closer to Rach. She said that maybe we should just buy in Vegas if we wanted to be close to Rachel. Excuse me! I think she's working for us, not the other way around. Any way, we don't want to live in Vegas. We love Arizona, just not out in bum Egypt by a prison and half way to the border. So we'll see what the new offer brings. If we get this one, it's kind of a fixer upper, which I guess is fine. Rick says we have "one more fixer upper in us." Glad he does; I'm not sure I do, but I'll try. Rach said she'd come down and help. Oh, really! We'll see about that too. ;o)
Sorry to say I don't miss Idaho and the cold and rain. I do miss my Mckenna, but that's about it for Twin. It's so nice here. We feel as if we're on vacation every day.
