Cold? I laugh in the face of this cold.

Arizonans gets their panties all in a bunch over a mere 37 degrees. The wimps! Man up, people. This ain't nothin' as those of you in Utah, Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho know. (I'm just talking the West here, folks. I realize those Midwesterners and nor' easterners have numbingly frigid climates too.)

The Humane Society in Arizona encourages us to bring in our pets and make sure they are protected from this cold snap. Oh, please... Idaho farm dogs ride on the toolboxes of pickups in the middle of blizzards without a shiver. Barley thinks she's died and gone to heaven when it's 37.

But I will admit my aging body feels these temps. My knees are stiff, my back aches, and my fingers are sore. ("You'll think your fingers are sore, Granny..."  an approximate quote from some Adam Sandler movie...I'm not good at movie quotes.) Natives say that blood thins out after a person has been here a while. Thank heaven something about me is thinning.

I've been wearing sweats to bed and slippers in the mornings. Yep, I'm a soft sissy la-la, too. It's 8 degrees in my homeland with 20 mph winds. Do you realize how cold that is? Men don't pee outside in that kind of weather, people. Even tough ones.

Rick just came in and ask if I knew where his stocking hat is. Psssh! Are you kidding? I think we sold 'em all at the yard sale when we arrived here in the hubs of hell. Just turn up the radio and wait for that heater to kick in, fella. What kind of he-man are you?

I'm going to wrap up in my blankie and drink some warm herbal tea. This is the barren desert and my blood is thin.

I'm posting a picture of Gunnar guy in his new hat. It's cold in Vegas too. That Gunman is no fool.

Isn't it hilarious how wimpy we get, and in such a short time? I feel like Nanook of the North in this wimpy Phoenix weather.

I am not liking this cold stuff. It is rainy here today so a little milder. Taking kids to the bus at 645 am in the freezing cold is for the birds.

It's so hard to wrap my head around the idea that it would be that cold in the desert! But after the summer heat ya'll had you deserve it :)

I used to walk around without a jacket when it hit the 40's when I lived in Utah, now I'm back to being a wimpy Arizonian! I'm literally freezing today. 2 prs. of socks, 2 jackets, and gloves when I took my son to school this morning.

OK You are hilarious! I am laughing so hard reading this post and still laughing as I type this comment.
"The hubs of hell" - Bawww ha ha ha

I would be sweatin if it were even close to 37 degrees. That blood must get awful thin down there either that or I am getting thick (which could be the case).
Either way you are one funny woman!
