When I grow up--when I get my act together and am calm and organized and sweet--I want to be Julie Harward at the The Harwards. She is a genuinely good person who is a cook, a grandmother, a devoted mom and wife.
The setting of their home at the base of the red cliffs is magical and wondrous. In those surroundings she rides horses, raises animals, and works along side her family. In her comfortable home she cuddles her grand kids, cooks marvelous dishes, and strengthens her faith.
I'm not usually syrupy and gushy, but I admire her togetherness. She's rock solid and positive. She loves her family, her life, and her religion. If you haven't visited her site, please do. It's so comforting and cozy, but not pretentious. She does it all with grace and doesn't seem to realize how effortlessly she inspires her readers. She likes people and she likes herself. Isn't that a gift!
I strive to be like that, but...well, I have miles to go... I think you'll love her blog. G' ahead. You'll be glad you did.
