All in Due Time...

I posted earlier. Went to church. Came home and deleted it. And that's how I roll.

I promised good stuff in 2012. I see that my first resolve is empty. I can think of nothing intelligent and meaty to write about.

My attitude is better now having gone to church. That's probably beneficial. Church should help a person have a more positive state of mind. So esta bien.

The weather here is glorious. It's around 80 degrees here today, nary a cloud in the sky or a breeze whispering by. The first of January and it's 80 degrees. This is amazing and worth note. The paper whites are out there in the sunshine stinking their little hearts out. Oh, by the way, I saw on the Today show this morning that Lester Holt had a whole line of potted paper whites in his office. I told Rick. "I wonder how he can stand the smell," was all he could comment. Those flowers are like so many people--pretty but stinky. I think some of you mentioned that.

I didn't sleep well last night. We had fireworks here too. Lola hates fireworks. She kept getting stuck under the bed and running around as if she was being tortured. Not good! Not good at all, people. Can we celebrate some other way? Therefore, I'm off to nap. It's been a fairly tiring year already.

Welocme to my 2012!

Let's get together within the next week or two for lunch. I miss your sweet face. It's going to be a good year, I can feel it. I'm thinking about starting a book club, any thoughts?

Happy New Year! There were a lot of fireworks around here last night. My dog Indy took it all in good stride but I was ready to be done with them.

Sorry the fireworks kept you and Lola up. Seems they were going off everywhere, all night long. Are you lucky or what...first of January and it's 80 degrees. Such a thing it should happen here. Hoping 2012 is better than the year before it. HAPPY NEW YEAR. Wishing you the best. Take care.

We had fireworks here too. Definately startled the dog.

Can you believe it is 50 and sunny here? Weird stuff this year but I'm not complaining.

Happy New Year!!

80 degrees seems hardly fair when I'm sitting under a blanket on front of the fire.

Paper whites..........I bet the place STUNK!

Have a good sleep tonight!

I don't understand why we, as bloggers, always feel the need to share the best and the most meaty. If it's genuinely you, who cares? Clearly you are loved for who you are...

Being back in church has made a big difference for me. I hope that it is the same for you.

And as for paper whites, maybe whoever gave them to Lester Holt doesn't like him a whole lot...

I hated the fireworks! I didn't plan on staying up till midnight last night but those dang things kept me awake all night. And I had the migraine all day long to prove it. I was also afraid the idiots lighting them off were going to accidentally shoot one into my house. Anyway, happy new year!

Been away for a few days! But I think you're going to bring lots of happy to 2012.

Fireworks always freaked out my dogs when I was young, too. Poor things!

Happy New Year!
