As I unpacked the bovine head it became more complex. This picture is just half of the pieces.
I tried to make another burlap wreath to go with Tex in the living room and it looked like poo. So I scrapped that. Plus I burned the heck out of my fingers with the glue gun. Why are those things so lethal?
I am happy to report that the hair appointment went pretty well. I kept telling her NOT to cut it and she listened. Now all I have to do is figure out how to style it while it grows. I tend to want to rip it out if it gets unmanageable. I'm calm like that, you know.
The headache returned later today, but it's not as bad as it was. I got the house cleaned before it got too bad. (The headache, not the house. Was I the only one confused there?)
Rooster called and read a "book" to me today. It was about a van and giving a ride to people. I just love hearing him read. But I always congratulate him before the end. He pauses and I just assume it's over. Sometimes I can't hear the individual words of the scintillating stories that well over the phone. I tend to think it's Rooster's enunciation rather than my aging hearing. I'm just gonna go with that.
