Well, the hoards have retreated back to Vegas. I have two loads of laundry chugging along and the dish washer running. Kitchen has been degunked of thickest. Lamp shade is askew and Rooster lost a pair of underwear and had to go home commando because his others were packed and we couldn't find his.(I think weird Lola might have dragged them off.) He, Blake and Grandpa went swimming just before they left. I always mourn their going as much as I feared their coming. I'm such a lunatic. We had a fun, frenetic and fruitful visit.
They went to sacrament meeting with us. Then they came home to pack and put noodles in the chicken soup and Rick and I stayed for Sunday school. I had the lesson. Good thing I stayed. We had about 12 people in class--which is about 9 more than we usually have. Also the Stake President came in. Yikes!! I didn't get really nervous but I did get kind of goofy. I'm sure it was OK. If not they will fire me, I guess. Just glad it's all over. I don't do busy very well.
OK, people. I took a picture of my hair. I should have had Rach take one when I was dressed for church, but...Do you know how hectic it is getting 7 people -- 3 who are 6 or younger and two who are 55 or older--ready for church. Ugh! How do some of you big families do it? Anyway, I came home pulled off my dress. Pulled on a t-shirt and faced the fury. After the crowds left I took a nap. So my hair looks bad. And it's hard to take my own picture with my phone. Here are the results:

I can see the highlights and I think it looks cute! Yrah..the first photo looks as if it were tanks at 69mph in a convertable, but the next is good..get some much needed rest and have a great Monday..is that an oxymoron??
I didnt know you taught Sunday school! The SP showing up wouldve sent me for a loop, but with your new sassy hairdo and all I guess you did okay!! ; )

My little rugrat left after being here all weekend. Between her and my MIL this week I'm beat. I am taking my phone off the hook tomorrow and I'm hosing out the house!

What the heck? That doesn't even look like your hair. The texture is totally different. It looks really soft and pretty though, I love it and I'm so glad that you are happy with it. Also glad to see you made it through another whirlwind of family matters.
I think you did a fine job taking a pic of your own hair! Trust me, I'm horrible at self portraits. Your hair looks pretty & I agree with the others, you can see the highlights :)

Haha I like the comment by your friend about the 69mph convertible! Seriously, I have never seen your hair cut and style look better then it did when you came home, so I'm not worried. You are in good hands down there! I'm excited you found a style that's working good!

I would have been terrified if the Stake Pres. came into a lesson I was teaching - our Stake Pres. is a little intimidating anyway :-D So good job to you!
