I thought you'd want to see the pennants. Well, one strand at least. I produced these babies yesterday. It's harder than I thought just because you have to repeat the simple process so many times. I'm going to make two more strands when my eyes recover. I had a massive headache all night. My eyes aren't what they used to be. Dang old age...
I've added some pots around one post and hope to go get some vines to grow up the posts. With my talent for growing in Arizona don't hold your breath on the beautification process.
Also on the vegetation front, My garden is going swimmingly--so far. The hotness hasn't really started so I fear the worst is coming. Note my sunflower (not yet blossomed) and the green tomatoes. One day I will snap the ripening results. Oh, yes, I will!

I will attempt to study them. Hope for the best.
Holly and I have plans to take a photog class. You know I failed the last photography class I took! But I fear not. It's the old "get back on the horse" adage all over again. Giddy up...

Why do they have to call us dummies and idiots!!?? Love the pennants, so pretty! I want to make some for my patio. Unless you're completely bored and want to make them for me.

And I'm curious as to what type of camera your daughter made you get...
That was an undertaking bigger than you thought I would guess. I've gotten myself into some of those things and when you get started you have to finish or it's all waste. They look good and I'm sure you'll enjoy.
I just don't bother any more with cameras ... just use my Iphone and if it comes out great, that's good. If not, oh well.

I like the pennants mom you did a really good job on them. I actually think your photos look great. Especially the close up one- very artsy it is. The garden is looking good and I like the pots around the poles. Very nice and southwesty. Now I want to see a picture of Lola and Barley under the sun sail.

I have a vegetable garden too, no tomato's yet on mine but they are getting big!!!!the vines that is!!!
Flowers will grow, but have to be certain ones and they love alot of water!!!

Your tomatoes look beautiful. I love making green tomato chow. Yum! I could use a couple lessons on digital photography too. I take hundreds of pictures but not lal of them are scrapbook-worthy. Your banners look lovely too - a lot of work there, but worth it.
The pennants are cute. I would love to take photography class. I have a cousin who is extremely talented with that stuff. When I was a kid my dad was always taking pictures and developed them in his own darkroom. Those pictures are some of my favorites.
I hope the tomatoes ripen before the heat gets to terrible.
