Sometimes I wonder about me! Why would I post a list of disgusting things yesterday? Who knows! I'm just weird. Sorry. There's a bad taste in my mouth from that post so I need to wipe it off and go on. I've felt that way before and I just never learn. I'm slow. Forgive.
I fly back "home" to Idaho tomorrow to see the mama, go to the doctor to get prescriptions renewed, and just hang out for a couple of days. I'm always excited to go back where I know things. I can drive from Boise to Twin Falls without even using any gps. Just my natural memory from having lived there 61 years. I never feel that here in Arizona. I'm always lost and struggling to feel that anything is familiar. That's reasonable considering we've only been here 11 months. But I do look forward to being some place where I feel "normal" for a minute. The weather is supposed to be cool so I'll have to break out the long pants. Now I remember why we moved to AZ. The weather...
Rick just called me to tell me he's getting to work. He's such a positive, up-beat guy. God knew what he was doing when he let me find him. He always sees the sunny side of life. The Suns got trounced last night, but Rick heard Charles Barkley talking on 102.5 radio and Rick was just laughing and saying that "those guys will rally and come back Wednesday." He is blessed to be so joyful. I'm blessed to have him around to dilute my gloomy disposition.
Lola and I are headed out for a walk. I should clean the kitchen and pack and make lists for Rick while I'm gone, but....I prefer to walk. The weather is fine and the dirt will still be here when I return. Have a pleasant Tuesday and be thankful for your blessings what ever they are.

What a happy post!
I love it! And good for you for getting out and walking and forgetting about the chores. Have fun in Twin!
It is raining here but we had a perfect weather weekend so I will count that.
My husband, don't know what I'd do without him...patience of a saint. I count him as my greatest blessing even when he makes me crazy!
Perhaps you should get yourself a pair of red flip flops and when you get homesick you can click your heels together.
There's no place like home:)
Enjoy your visit, you'll be in my thoughts.
Enjoy your visit to home. In a few weeks I may be headed up that way if my Grandma needs me. Driving to Pocatello to pick up my great-aunt then over to Burley for a my great-grandmother's 90th birthday.
It is a blessing to have a positive person to help dispel gloomy thoughts. My son helps do that for me.
Yea, I hope you'll have time to stop by for bit. Or we could do lunch if you have enough time! Good luck on the journey!
Being the procrastinator that I am....I vote for the walk too!! I hope you have a lovely trip though!
I still think you should try stamping! It's like kindergarten, cut, paste, color within the lines - you'll love it!!! LOL!
Hope you have a great time being back in Idaho!
We had a super sunny wonderful day here today. But alas, it is supposed to start raining. It may feel good to your Arizona body :D
I hope you have a great trip. Everything is in bloom and beautiful here!! Definately something to smile about !!
someday, on your way to Idaho, stop in Utah and Red Shoes and I will take you out for lunch or something!
Be safe and have fun!
Just read your "Beauty..." post.
You're so funny! I love it!
what abt. "naturally" beautiful? you know, like Sarah Jessica Parker or Kate Blanchette. People say they're beautiful but certainly not in the mainstream sense.
