Dick and Jane in Arizona

I always see beautiful pictures posted on blogs. Sadly, those lovely creations are never mine. I suck at photography. It's OK. Don't even say anything. Just know that if I try to show you our day in photos, it really lacks artistic ability, depth, composition, lighting and all that other stuff. Think of it like using stick figures to illustrate a story. (Really sad, stick drawings...)  We swam. Water was 79 degrees. Getting warmer. We had fun. We have a lime growing on our tree. We have some oranges too.(tiny oranges so small they look like green bugs) The tomatoes are spindly but are putting on little fruit. Why are my tomatoes so spindly? This cactus broke off one we planted in front. I put it in a pot. It sprouted new little arms this spring. I'm happy that I saved the cactus. My geraniums are huge but I deadheaded the biggest blooms so they don't look as good as they did. This is our yard in AZ. Different than my lush, green, rose-filled yard in ID. It's OK. Just different. It was almost 90 degrees here today. That was delightful. It was nice to have Rick home. The NASCAR race in Texas was rained out. I'm so not inspired to write today, but wanted to post something. Just ignore this. I don't even think it's comment-worthy.
P.S. Our neighbors were arguing at 1:30 a.m. He was riding off on a bike. Why? He has a car. His wife said, "You're crazy!" He came back. They yelled some more until 2. Then they must have stopped because I finally could go to sleep..

I didn't know there was a race today. See how out of the loop I am. I don't take good photos either which is why I post so few of them on my blog.

Your yard is beautiful! I love the pretty lime tree. I was actually thinking about you guys last night. Thinking how warm it must have been there if it was 75 here. Glad you got a swim in! :)

My pics suck, I blame it on the camera;)
It must be hard/interesting/challenging adjusting to a new climate, but you do enjoy the heat!
