Newby is Male
I know it's hard to tell here, but my newest grandchild is a boy. That glowing appendage between the little legs is his penis (or pee pee as the picture says though it's hard to read here).
I resign myself to never having a granddaughter since this is their last child and I have only one child to produce grandchildren for me. It's OK. I'm used to "stinky boys" as I call them.
Rachel says she knows how to raise boys. Ooookay, dear, if you say so. (Luckily she never reads my blog.)
I'm just hoping babe is healthy and happy and she comes through all in good health. Nothing else is important to me.
Pray for the miners in West Virginia. I feel so sorry for them and their families. I just don't understand these tragedies.

Congrats on another boy!!! I too ache for the minors and their families.
You're so funny. Makenna just said, "Mom, what was so funny?". I love your sense of humor slash sarcasm. Congrats on another grandson! It's funny that you only had a daughter (no son) and now you will have three grandsons. Life is funny. Boys seem fun (I obviously don't know this from personal experience) and they seem to love their grandma to pieces. Plus Rachel loves all of those crazy activities, such as hunting raccoons, so it's probably better that it's a boy. I'm not sure how that girl would have turned out. :)
I love it when doctors use those technical terms like "pee pee." LOL! congrats on the new grandson-to-be!
Having 2 girls, I hear that boys are easier;)
And being close in age they'll be The 3 Amigos! Triple Trouble.
I agree, sometimes these tragedies are hard to comprehend, especially when 1 follows another.
Hang in there Jo, and let me know if your coming up my way!
